Today is September 23rd, the day that the rapture is suppose to happen according to Scott Clarke.
Before the day is even over, he is already flippantly hedging and admitting he is wrong, and not just that, but indicating that it may in fact be the next day, the 24th of September.
You have to understand something about date-setters. They have one of three responses when their prognostications do not come to fruition. They will either:
- Claim that God “changed” his mind.
- Claim that Jesus actually did return but in a “spiritual” sense.
- Claim that the prediction was miscalculated and go on to predict another date.
Scott Clarke has chosen response #3. (David Meade has chosen #3 as well).
Sadly, the response from date-setters is never to repent of their error of leading many believers astray.
Mr. Clarke, I admonish you to repent of your foolish, failed teaching. It is best that you shut down your deceptive youtube channel and focus on ministering in your local church rather than misleading the people of God.
