I talked about a deep-seated pretrib assumption that identifies the truth that the rapture occurs before the day of the Lord with the pretribulational rapture itself. It is not the same thing. The problem as I pointed out in this episode is that prewrath also believes that the rapture occurs before the day of the Lord.
In previous episodes I have shown that the pretrib claim that apostasia in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is full of errors. But for the sake of the argument, I assumed that if this was true, it does not prove a pretrib rapture in itself, because prewrath also affirms that the rapture will occur before the day of the Lord.
In short, I demonstrated that pretribs cannot assume a pretrib rapture in 2 Thessalonians, but must prove one, which they have not been able to.
“Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not arrive until the rebellion [apostasia] comes and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.” (2 Thess 2:3)
