Perry Stone in this video asserts, “After 50,000 hours of Bible study I have done everything I can to try to prove there will be a post-trib coming and I can’t prove it.”
Sure, and I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Why the sensational, goofy statements? Because he is talking to his own people who do not challenge him. I mean, come on folks, do the math. Let’s say he studied 3 hours a day just on the subject of “proving the post-trib view but failing” (he throws the prewrath view in the same camp). And surely he must have taken off at least one day a week, say Sunday, from this all-pressing, big-life question of proving-yet failing on post-trib. That would mean it has taken him 53 years to fail to prove the post-trib position! So when did he take on this vexing question? In his mother’s womb?
Mr. Stone, given that you claim to have devoted “50,000 hours” to this vexing exegetical question, surely then you can spare a three-hour, moderated, public debate to debunk the prewrath position, yes?
