Postmillennialists often exclaim that Jesus may not return for “A THOUSAND GENERATIONS.”
This contradicts Jesus’s warning not to possess that attitude: “My master is staying away a long time.”
Instead, the Olivet Discourse is designed to teach that Jesus may likely return for our present generation.
