The documentary Seven Pretrib Problems and the Prewrath Rapture that Chris White and myself produced has become hugely popular and converting untold numbers of pretribs over to the prewrath camp.
And this is frustrating many pretribs including Alf Cengia to the extent that since there has not been any meaningful pretrib reviews of the documentary (even after two years!), he is promoting a trashy piece by James Ventilato. I am not going to even link his “article” here since it is beyond laughable and shameful. I typically look beyond the rhetoric of many pretrib articles but this one is utterly deplorable. Beyond that it is written in childish, shouting CAPITALIZED WORDS, underscores, italics, bold, and various colors, the worse part is that it is incoherent on every level as I could not figure out who Ventilato was citing and when and where he was even responding to it. It was like Ventilato used a bot to create his response as it is a hodgepodge of blockquotes followed by shallow pretrib quips.
Oh, and did I mention, the article is 84 single-lined pages of this pablum!
All that to say, that Alf Cengia is promoting this internet rubbish on what seemingly I thought was a sound facebook page on theology is most telling about how desperate he is to “refute” the sound exegetical arguments in the documentary.
