I was 30 years of age when 9/11 happened.
I remember a lot and I will always remember after the wake of 9/11 the media pundits and government officials tried to explain why they attacked us: “we are capitalistic,” “we have western values,” “we are democratic,” “we are blah, blah, blah.”
Few people at that time—including today—actually know the real reason he attacked us on 9/11.
I remember reading the exact reason when Osama bin Laden’s letter to America was published.
Osama bin Laden gave a list of reasons, but the main one on the list why he attacked us was: the land of Israel and America’s support for the existence of Israel and its land.
In his November 2002 “Letter to America”, bin Laden described the United States’ support of Israel as a motivation:
The expansion of Israel is one of the greatest crimes, and you are the leaders of its criminals. And of course there is no need to explain and prove the degree of American support for Israel. The creation of Israel is a crime which must be erased. Each and every person whose hands have become polluted in the contribution towards this crime must pay its price, and pay for it heavily.[15]
In 2004 and 2010, bin Laden again repeated the connection between the September 11 attacks and the support of Israel by the United States.[16][17] Support of Israel was also mentioned before the attack in the 1998 Al-Qaeda fatwa:
[T]he aim [of the United States] is also to serve the Jews’ petty state and divert attention from its occupation of Jerusalem and murder of Muslims there. The best proof of this is their eagerness to destroy Iraq, the strongest neighboring Arab state, and their endeavor to fragment all the states of the region such as Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Sudan into paper statelets and through their disunion and weakness to guarantee Israel’s survival and the continuation of the brutal crusade occupation of the Peninsula.[4]

There you have it. It was America’s support for Israel’s homeland that motivated Osama bin Laden to attack us.
Of course, we should support Israel and its God-given right to the land.
It will not be the last time that Satan will be inspired to go to war in order to occupy Israel’s land:
“Now when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to bring them together for the battle. They are as numerous as the grains of sand in the sea. They went up on the broad plain of the earth and encircled the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and devoured them completely.” (Rev 20:7–9)
