I have been telling people in my circles that concern over the virus is myopic. Not to minimize at all those who have died from this, but I think exponentially more devastating events will occur. In fact, I know this, because Jesus prophesied these events, catastrophes that will cause people to think the end has really come: “Make sure that you are not alarmed, for this must happen, but the end is still to come” (Matt 24:6).
In reality, not that many people have died from the virus (I understand that it has not reached its peak). I personally believe in natural herd immunity (which has worked for millennia for civilizations). Many ancient civilizations survived these low-death percentage outbreaks because they ate whole foods (not processed) and used God’s natural means of healing and immunity. Universal sheltering-in is not the answer. And eating right (avoiding processed carbs and sugars). We will practically all get this virus at some point. So running away from it is not the answer. Preparing your immune system is an answer. Rarely have healthy people died from this virus; unhealthy people, on the other hand, are dying because of associated health issues (e.g. processed carbs and sugar is proven to cause diabetes, cancer, heart disease, strokes, dementia, obesity, and so on). Now is the time to make a clean break from the addiction of processed food.
Of course, good immunity will not protect against a wall of lava coming down on your city or the debris enveloping practically all of America. And this brings me to my main point in this post: There will be day that you die, whether from a single day of an apocalyptic supervoclano, from a protracted outbreak of a virus, or from the beheading of the Antichrist’s sword because you refused to bow the knee to his image. In any event, we must have our spiritual house in order to meet our Lord and Savior.
Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ, a microscopic virus nor a supervolcano.
I am praying every day for all of you to live wisely in these days!
Regards,
Alan
