“He also caused everyone (small and great, rich and poor, free and slave) to obtain a mark on their right hand or on their forehead. Thus no one was allowed to buy or sell things unless he bore the mark of the beast—that is, his name or his number.” (Rev 13:16–17)
This will be a rude wake up call for Christians who have been taught that they would escape before the Antichrist arrives and implements his extermination system for faithful believers. The Bible, of course, teaches no such thing of an escape before the Antichrist’s arrival. Rather, it warns believers to be faithful to Jesus during that time, lest you perish in hell forever for capitulating to the beast and his image.
“A third angel followed the first two, declaring in a loud voice: ‘If anyone worships the beast and his image, and takes the mark on his forehead or his hand, that person will also drink of the wine of God’s anger that has been mixed undiluted in the cup of his wrath, and he will be tortured with fire and sulfur in front of the holy angels and in front of the Lamb. And the smoke from their torture will go up forever and ever, and those who worship the beast and his image will have no rest day or night, along with anyone who receives the mark of his name.;’ This requires the steadfast endurance of the saints—those who obey God’s commandments and hold to their faith in Jesus.” (Rev 14:9–12)
The vast majority of self-proclaimed Bible prophecy teachers out there explain away this passage to something other than what it plainly means. They are not your friends, they are not teaching you truth—rather, they are teaching you Man’s tradition, a tradition that will send your soul to hell as the passage above states. They live in platitudes. This biblical truth is too harsh for them. In short, they are not preparing your hearts to overcome the beast’s system, that will be here sooner than later.
