The Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics is a group of traditional dispensationalists made up of mostly pretribulationists, some I have interacted with on the blog. Even though I think they are wrong-headed on pretribulational theology, there are other points that I believe we can learn from them on, for example, the question of Israel’s future, premillennialism, and the like.
The upcoming annual meeting is next month in So Ca. I regrettably have a commitment, otherwise I would make the trek to attend. If you live near by here is the information:
The Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics is a national discussion group consisting of traditional dispensational theologians from a host of Bible colleges and seminaries across the country who try in an irenic way to discuss hermeneutical and theological issues based around a chosen topic. The meetings are primarily designed with Bible college and Seminary professors as well as pastors in mind, but others who are interested in what we are doing are welcome to attend. The theme this year is “Dispensationalism and the Gospels.”
For the first time the National Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics will be held in San Diego! Southern California Seminary is pleased to host the 11th Annual Meeting which will center on the topic: “Dispensationalism in the Gospels”.
