Find out how pretrib teacher Dave Hunt responded to Joel 2:30–31 when asked about it. In this episode I explained why Joel 2:30-31 is the simplest and most effective way to teach prewrath. I consider it an anchor passage, or an “interpretive key,” as it helps to compare Scripture with Scripture by learning about the framework of prewrath eschatology.
“I will produce portents both in the sky and on the earth– blood, fire, and columns of smoke. The sunlight will be turned to darkness and the moon to the color of blood, before the day of the LORD comes– that great and terrible day!” (Joel 2:30–31)
