In my studies at Gordon-Conwell, I had the privilege of getting to know Haddon. I was not an MDiv student so I did not take any preaching classes from him. But I got to know him personally as we were the earliest birds on campus when he would eat breakfast at the cafeteria. I enjoyed my conversations with Haddon, who was an incredibly humble man. I am thankful I had the chance to know him even for that short time.
