Marzulli (and Gary Stearman) is mistaken in the video above to think that apostasia can mean “physical departure.” It never does, which is why he never provides any evidence in the video and instead focuses on talking about “UFOs” and not Scripture.
The term apostasia means a political or religious departure in Koine Greek, not a physical departure such as in a rapture. See my article here.
In addition, in my cross examination with Thomas Ice below, I pressed him on this issue and Ice had to admit that he was not able to produce a single document in all of Koine literature where apostasia ever means “physical departure” (the video below starts our discussion on this point and the timestamp at 13:05 is where Thomas Ice finally admitted that he could not cite a single instance for the debate).
