I talked about my interview on Michael Brown’s The Line of Fire Program this past week. I played the entire clip from his show. First, I responded to a couple of misrepresentations that Michael Brown and Craig Keener gave on a past program and corrected that misunderstanding. Then I commented on a couple of points that Brown challenged me on during the interview where there was not enough time to unpack a response. The most important was how posttribs interpret 1 Thessalonians 4:17 and the Greek term behind “meeting.” I outlined a response to this very common posttrib argument. And I talked about other theologically conceptual differences between prewrath and posttrib eschatology. I appreciated Brown’s willingness to engage with prewrath eschatology.
