I found this piece interesting, not because I think it is the fulfillment of any prophetic event. I found it interesting because many believe that the book of Revelation depicts events that are so fantastic that they think they could never actually happen.
“And it was allowed to give breath [autonomy] to the image [inanimate] of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause [detection] those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.” (Rev 13:15 ESV) [I suspect there will be a demonic component to the animation of the image of the beast.]
