I am speaking at the Future Congress 2 conference this weekend. This afternoon, I gave my prewrath presentation on the celestial disturbances as the harbinger to the day of the Lord’s wrath. The room was so packed that we had to add chairs, and even then we had to end up turning people away because of the max capacity. The number of people interested in prewrath eschatology was encouraging, but I was sad to see people turned away who wanted to take in the presentation. I hope they will attend my second and third presentations tomorrow.
I took a survey before my presentation of how many were prewrath, pretrib, and “no-trib.” The majority of them were not prewrathers, many who were prettribbers—and that is exactly the audience I wanted to reach. I could sense—along with feedback—that it was very well received and how it “just made biblical sense” and “why they have never been taught this before.”
Folks, this only confirms what I have always believed: I am convinced that when the prewrath position is given a hearing—not filtered through biased pretrib teachers!—the truth makes sense to them, presuming of course, the work of the Holy Spirit to direct truth in the hearts of God’s people.
I must go, but pray that the other presentations will go just as well tomorrow. DVDs will be available of all three sessions.
