I am calling on Wesley Norris to publicly repent of his egregious slander against his prewrath brothers and sisters in Christ. If anyone knows where Norris attends church, please let me know. His elders need to be informed of his slander he is propagating on the Internet, so they can restrain him from continuing to malign the name of Christ and his redeemed people. (Source here).
Apostate means that an individual or group has denied the faith they had previously affirmed. Norris is making “imminence” a constituent of the Gospel. This is deplorable.
Later in that link, Norris writes, “Please let it be known that I have not called anyone here a heretic or an apostate.” That does not work. Apostasy does not apply to a doctrine or concept—it refers to what people do. Norris can equivocate on language, but he is still conveying that prewrathers are apostate.
Amazingly, in the same post, Norris writes, “I rather enjoy a healthy dialogue of disagreeing points of view.” He is a disingenuous person. For if you deny imminence, then in Norris’ eyes you subscribe to apostasy.
This is a very serious charge he is making against his brothers and sisters in Christ. Again, if anyone has information on him, especially who his elders are, please inform me. Thank you.
