“I only have this to say about Alan Kurschn [sic] and his blogging about me: LOL.” —Wesley Norris
There you go folks, I did not expect a meaningful biblical response to my articles on Wesley Norris’ pretribulational theology. For the record his response has been basically name calling: heresy, blaspheming, apostate, and flippantly laughing (“LOL”).
(In addition, in a recent comment here, he slanderously calls Calvinism “heretical” and he falsely claims that it teaches “that God actually chose people to go to hell for His glory.” He is woefully ignorant of what Calvinism teaches, for he conveys in his assertion of what it teaches that it is God’s fault that sinners go to hell. That is a first-rank falsehood. Calvinism teaches that it is sinners who send themselves to hell, period. And God is glorified in his loving grace to save freely undeserving sinners for himself, and he is glorified in the righteous judgment upon deserving sinners that he did not freely save. The former receives mercy and the latter receives justice. Cf. Rom 9:6–24)
This is a teachable moment to show how many pretribs want to dish out assertions, but lack the willingness to defend them. And when they are challenged, as I have challenged Wesley Norris, they resort to name calling and other un-Christlike diversionary tactics. I desired to have a discussion on a biblical level with Norris, but he refused to do so, so that is that.
