What is the “icing on the cake” for me (for those who’ve heard it from me before, bear with me)? The Lord told us in Matthew 24:43,44 that He was coming like a “thief”. Where in the judgments do we see this announced? After the 6th vial: Revelation 16:15- “Behold, I come as a THIEF. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” Notice He says that those who “watch” are blessed. So we must still be here after the 6th vial. Remember also that Paul described the DOTL as coming like a “thief”: 1 Thessalonians 5:2- “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a THIEF in the night.”What else did Paul say? That we need to “watch”: 1 Thessalonians 5:6- “Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us WATCH and be sober.”
