I am hearing from more and more Calvary Chapel prewrathers, which is encouraging. They are desirous to see a prewrath voice at some of the Calvary Chapel conferences. The problem is the leadership is not open to having dialogue with the prewrath position, the pretribulational position is the only one allowed, unfortunately.
And recently, I have written to pastor Dwight Douville of Calvary Chapel Appleton about having a prewrath voice at their 2012 Great Lakes Prophecy Conference:
I see you are having an upcoming prophecy conference. I was wondering if you would be open to a prewrath voice at your conference, even if it is for one session. I believe the interaction would be beneficial for God’s people. I know that there is a growing number of CC believers who are embracing prewrath, including pastors. And a venue such as yours would be fitting for dialogue between the prewrath and pretribulational perspective. Would you be willing to give myself a speaking time to expound on this position?
Sadly, Douville is not interested, and I was given no explanation.
The encouraging note is that the more Calvary Chapel goers who learn that the leadership is trying to silence the prewrath perspective, the more it piques the interest of their people.
